Cathie Wood Portfolio: All Stocks & Buys/Sells
As of Q2 2026 · reported on SEC Form 13F
Portfolio at a glance
- Portfolio value ?Total market value of every reported position on the quarter's reporting date, in US dollars.
- $15.40B
- Positions ?Number of distinct securities in the filing. Names reported on several lines are merged into one position.
- 191
- Top 10 share ?Share of the reported portfolio held in the ten largest positions. The higher it is, the more concentrated the bets.
- 39.4%
- Reporting period ?The quarter the filing covers. Managers have up to 45 days after the reporting date to file.
- Q2 2026
- Portfolio vs. S&P 500 (5 yr) ?Cumulative return of the replicated portfolio and of the S&P 500 over the calculated window. The sentence below states the gap between the two in percentage points — the plain difference between the two percentages. Replicated means: the reported stock weights at each quarterly reporting date, carried forward to the next one.
- -21.3% vs. +86.7%
That puts the replication 107.9 percentage points behind the S&P 500.
How this figure is built — and what it is not
This is NOT the fund's return. It is the return of a portfolio you would hold if you rebuilt the reported US stock basket at every quarterly reporting date, using the reported weights, and held it until the next one. Prices include dividends and the quarters are chained; the S&P 500 runs on the same basis. Whatever a 13F leaves out is missing here too: cash, short positions, bonds and everything outside the US. Options are deliberately excluded — a filing carries them at the value of the underlying shares, which would distort every weight. Between two filings a manager trades, and a quarterly replication cannot see those moves.
Calculated window: Q2 2021 to Q2 2026, in 19 quarterly steps.
What these numbers show — and what they don't
The source is SEC Form 13F, the disclosure institutional investment managers must file with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). It covers long positions in US-listed securities — stocks, plus exchange-traded options and convertible notes, an option being carried at the value of the underlying shares. Cash, short positions, ordinary bonds and holdings outside the US never appear. Filings are quarterly and land up to 45 days after the reporting date, so these figures are an official but delayed and partial view — not a live portfolio.

About Cathie Wood
Cathie Wood is the founder and Chief Investment Officer of ARK Investment Management, the New York-based firm she launched in 2014 after building her career as a thematic growth strategist, including a stint leading global thematic investing at AllianceBernstein. Her approach centers on what she calls disruptive innovation: companies she believes are positioned to upend entire industries through breakthroughs in areas such as genomics, robotics and automation, energy storage, artificial intelligence, and fintech and blockchain.
Wood is perhaps best known for her early and unwavering conviction in Tesla, a call she stuck with through years of skepticism from much of Wall Street. Her funds also stand out for turning over holdings far more actively than traditional value-oriented managers, trimming or adding to positions as her thematic outlook or a stock's valuation shifts.
This page tracks ARK Investment Management's US stock holdings as disclosed in mandatory institutional investment manager filings (SEC Form 13F) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, including position sizing and quarter-over-quarter buys and sells. Keep the format's limits in mind: Form 13F covers only long US equity positions, is filed once per quarter, and can be published up to 45 days after quarter-end — it does not include returns, short positions, or holdings outside the US.
Frequently Asked Questions
Through ARK Investment Management, Cathie Wood has traditionally concentrated on companies tied to disruptive growth themes such as genomics, robotics and automation, energy storage, artificial intelligence, and fintech and blockchain — with Tesla standing out as one of her best-known and longest-held positions. The exact lineup shifts from quarter to quarter, so the table on this page pulls automatically from the latest SEC Form 13F filing, including each position's weight in the portfolio.
Because Wood and her team rebalance more actively than most institutional investors, buys and sells can shift meaningfully from one quarter to the next. Which positions were newly opened, added to, trimmed, or exited most recently is shown in the buys-and-sells view on this page, sourced from the latest SEC filing — check it for the current picture rather than relying on a snapshot in this text.
Cathie Wood runs a thematic growth strategy built around disruptive innovation: she favors companies she believes can displace existing technologies and business models over established industry leaders with steady cash flows. That stance tends to bring above-average volatility and a high turnover rate, since positions are actively adjusted as her thematic view — and individual stock valuations — evolve.
A 13F filing is a mandatory quarterly disclosure that institutional investment managers overseeing more than $100 million must submit to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). It lists all long US equity positions as of the quarter-end date, but publication can lag by up to 45 days, and it excludes short positions, performance returns, and any holdings outside the United States.
ARK Investment Management is Cathie Wood's asset management firm, which manages the well-known actively managed ARK ETFs among other accounts. Its Form 13F filing aggregates US equity positions across all the funds and accounts ARK manages at the company level — so it reflects the firm's overall US stock strategy rather than the holdings of any single ETF in isolation.

SEC Form 13F — the mandatory quarterly disclosure institutional investment managers file with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). One filing per quarter, submitted up to 45 days after the reporting date; values are market values on that date, in US dollars.
