Buy Day today: Good (62) Broad market participation · no major macro event

Everyone wants to make money. Few have a way.

We test scientifically what actually works in the market — and send you the buy signals with the reasoning, accompanied through to the exit.

The proof

We backtest a strategy before we sell it

We have backtested 53 investment strategies ourselves — across entire stock universes, with trading costs and including the companies that no longer exist today. Most of them fail. Only 11 recipes made it through.

We publish what does not work, too.

Three results from our backtests

14.38% per year

Growth Gems, buying at exactly 7 out of 7 points, backtested from 2000 to 2026 — against 6.55% per year for the S&P 500 over the same period.

The honest part

Along the way the portfolio sat 53.1% below its high. Individual sell variants in the study score higher — the study itself warns that those lines are partly a multiple-testing artefact.

14.48% per year

Magic Formula in its original ranking, backtested from 2000 to 2026 across 22,871 US stocks — against 8.28% for the S&P 500.

The honest part

Since 2010 the formula has trailed the index by roughly 3.8 percentage points a year. The edge comes from the years before that.

17.90% per year

Cannibal Turn (buybacks beginning), twelve-month holding period from 2013 to 2026 — against 15.02% for the S&P 500 including dividends.

The honest part

Companies that have been buying back habitually for years stayed below the index at 13.13%. What counts is the start, not the habit.

Every figure is a backtest result: measured past, not a promise for the future.

How is that possible?

Artificial intelligence gives us the reading capacity of a research house with 30 analysts — without its salaries. That is why it costs $9.90 instead of $40.

The machine reads and calculates, we decide what gets published. What has come together so far:

22,999 earnings calls read
2,555 companies behind them
624 published stock analyses
709 companies with an AI dossier
3,060 AI quality verdicts on our own texts
53 in-house backtest studies
4,726 stocks covered

Buy · Accompany · Sell

A signal here is not a shout — it is a process with a beginning and an end.

Buy

When a stock meets one of the released recipes, you get it by email — with the reason in plain words and with what the backtest says about that strategy.

Accompany

Every reported position is carried forward. Your account always shows what is running and what has been closed.

Sell

The exit follows a fixed rule, not a gut feeling: a stop 15% below entry, at the latest after 84 days — or when the stock no longer meets the recipe. The rule is set before the buy.

This rule is set, not proven: the first holding period is still running, so there are no closed positions from live operation yet.

Everything runs in the open

In the Portfolio Duel 157 strategies run against each other as model portfolios — since July 27, 2026, with 807 trades, each with a date and a reason. Including the portfolios that are down. No portfolio is hidden, no row removed after the fact.

The portfolios have only been running for a few weeks. We show them as evidence that we calculate in the open — not as proof of success.

To the Portfolio Duel

Got a particular stock in mind?

We will check it for you on its own: business development, valuation, balance sheet and risks in one analysis that is published afterwards. $9.90 once, result usually within 24 to 48 hours.

Ordering requires an account — the analysis then belongs to your account.

What you can realistically expect

Since August 4, 2026 we have sent 277 verified buy signals, spread over 42 of 34 trading days — 8.1 a day on average, so roughly 41 a week. The period is short; we keep the figure updated.

A backtest measures the past; it is not a promise. Every return figure we show describes what a strategy WOULD have returned in a historical period — not what it will return.

Stocks can lose value at any time, up to a total loss. Only invest money you do not depend on.

Signals are information, not investment advice and not a recommendation to buy. The decision is yours.
